KEITH REID – MOUNTAIN CLIMBING
In between traveling around the world in pursuit of alpine first ascents, Keith has been committed to instructing and guiding on the rock and in the alpine since 1990. Equally talented on rock, snow, and ice, Keith has made such notable first climbs as the 5.13 testpiece Gom Jabbar in Cheakamus Canyon, as well as first alpine ascents in British Columbia's Waddington range and the St. Elias range in Alaska.

KATHERINE FRASER – CLIMBER
Katherine has been rock and ice climbing for over 14 years, leading 5.12b traditional climbs, Grade V and VI ice and alpine routes, while establishing new routes in B.C. She has organized and participated in climbing expeditions to Patagonia, China, and Alaska.

SEPP BRUHWILER – SURFING
Sepp first hit the waves at the age of 6. At 14, he competed in BCSA contests where he quickly qualified for the world surfing games in the U.S., Brazil, and Portugal. He hopes to keep shooting pictures and video to inspire the next generation of Canadian surfers.

ROSS REBAGLIATI – MOTOCROSS
Ross honed his Motocross skills during his 17 years living in Whistler, B.C. He is currently training to compete in the Baja 500 and eventually the 1000 and Paris-Dakar rally. Fueling him for more is his gold medal in snowboarding from the 1998 Winter Olympics.

COLIN ERNST – KITEBOARDING
Colin owns and operates V.K.S – Canada's largest Kiteboarding School located in Vancouver. He also ran the first ever youth kite camp for kids in Squamish B.C. His favorite locations to kiteboard are Squamish B.C., Nitinaht B.C., Bear Creek "Secret Spot" B.C.

MARK HORNBY - FLY FISHING
For Mark, fly fishing is about finding a remote location, reading the water, types of flies in the air, and the fish that you know are waiting under the surface. He understands that his greatest accomplishment is being at peace, even if he hasn't caught a thing.

VERSATILITY

KAYAKING
Get out to the river faster and easier with the H3T and its incomparable customization. Begin with a slant-back hard cover so your bed becomes a protective, lockable storage area for your paddles and gear. Add roof-rack cross bars with mounted load-stop carriers and roof-rail tie-downs to secure your kayaks atop the truck.

SNOWBOARDING
Start with a unique chrome, squarebar brushguard to push your way through deep powder on your way into the backcountry. Add roof-rack cross bars, a ski/snowboard carrier, and a full-width bed-mounted storage box to keep your winter gear dry when it's dumping.

MOTOCROSS
Customized especially for motocross enthusiasts, the H3T with adjustable, bed-mounted bike chocks can carry up to two motorcycles to the track or off-road trails. To complement the chock, add on a bed extender to further secure the bikes, and a bed-mounted carry-off storage box to store tools and gear.

SURFING
If the rush of the wave is your morning coffee, you'll need the H3T. Start with roof-rack cross bars with tie-down straps to lock in your boards. Then use the full-width storage box to hold your other gear. To get on top, add on some black, flat assist steps. And, if you have to drive through rough terrain on your way to the beach, a brush grille guard.

FLY-FISHING
Get to the most out-there fishing spots with all your gear inside. Start by enhancing your bed with the full-width storage box - keeping your rods, reels, and line organized and secure. Throw your additional gear in the roof cargo basket and hold it place with sturdy, built-in netting.

CLIMBING
Climbing has its fair share of accessories - ropes, harnesses, carabiners. Secure them with a hard tonneau cover and create easy-accessed compartments with a sliding bed floor that rolls out your cargo with a simple turn of the latch and pull on the handle.

ATV
Get your ATV to locations you've never been able to before with all the gear you need to optimize your off-road adventure. With a bed extender, you can carry your ATV comfortably* to the most remote of destinations.

CAPABILITY

HUMMER's first true pickup incorporates all the off-road innovations that made the brand famous. That includes a maximum 69:1 crawl ratio, best-in-class approach and departure angles, and full underbody protection. All of that in addition to available front and rear locking differentials add up to the most capable off-road pickup on the planet.

Every HUMMER comes standard with a locking rear axle differential for increased off-road capability. But a locking front differential, available for 2009, helps make the H3T the most capable off-road pickup on the planet. With both differentials locked, all four wheels can get maximum torque, so even if just one wheel has traction, the H3T moves forward while other pickups cannot.

UTILITY

The H3T is the perfect sized truck for whatever you’re into. It’s smaller than a full-size pickup, but bigger than a mid-size, so you get the best combination of capacity and maneuverability. Also, its versatile truck bed is designed with a cargo management system that adapts to whatever your cargo needs are. This allows you to get out there and through the elements with all the gear you need.

1) Bed-Rail Track System: A bed-rail track system with full front and side box c-channel tracks spans the length and width of the H3T's 5-foot bed. It uses sliding tie-down brackets to secure gear and accessories, and it allows you to convert the bed into a two-tier loading space. Each track is made of 100% rust-resistant aluminum and carries a 500 lb* load point rating.

2) Adjustable tie-down brackets: These brackets can be adjusted to secure gear at various positions along the bed-rail tracks.

3) Bed liner with integrated storage: The H3T comes standard with a durable bed liner with storage space integrated throughout. It was designed specifically for the H3T.

4) Cargo Bed: The H3T comes with a fully customizable 5-foot pickup bed offering 33.5 cubic feet of cargo space and a maximum payload of up to 1,090 lbs.*

5) Towing Capacity: The H3T has a standard towing capacity of 4,400 lbs. But with an available 300 hp V8, it jumps to an impressive 5,900 lbs.

INNOVATION

ENGINE

Breathing life into the H3T is the Vortec 3.7L 5-cylinder engine that generates an impressive 241 lb-ft of low-end torque at 4600 rpm and strikes a perfect balance between performance and fuel efficiency.* Being both high-tech and lightweight, this "smart engine" is highly durable, making it the perfect choice for the H3T, allowing us to offer a HUMMER 100,000-mile/5-year transferable Powertrain Warranty^†, whichever comes first.

The Vortec 3.7L is available with either a standard, smooth shifting five-speed manual transmission or a Hydra-Matic 4L60-E electronically controlled four-speed automatic transmission. The automatic transmission includes shift modes specific to the low-range operation which, combined with speed-based throttle progressions, help optimize drivability in low-range off-highway conditions.

Standard on the H3T Alpha is the 5.3L V8 engine. The small block V8 delivers a significant enhancement to overall power and performance.

CARGO MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

With thousands of possible configurations, owning an H3T is like owning a different truck for every adventure. That's because you can customize the most versatile HUMMER ever to match whatever you’re into whether it's kayaking, rock climbing or mountain biking.

For starters, the H3T's crew cab body style can seat up to 5 passengers comfortably. It also comes with a 5-foot, fully functional cargo bed that adjusts to whatever you’re hauling thanks to 33.5 cubic feet of storage space, 19.4 inches of box depth and an optional bed extender that makes your bed even longer.*

What's more, the Cargo Management System spans the full length and width of the cargo box using 4 sliding tie-down brackets to secure your gear and enables you to carry weight of up to 500 pounds.*

To give you even more versatility, the H3T comes standard with a durable bedliner and integrated storage compartments throughout. Also available are full-length and full-width lockable storage boxes that mount securely to the Cargo Management System. And as a final touch, optional side-mounted lockable carry-off boxes slide on and off easily.

STABILITRAK ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM

The Stabilitrak Electronic Stability Control System, standard on the H3T, provides more precise, all-weather control by applying braking forces to help correct oversteer or understeer.

This is particularly useful on slick surfaces or during emergency maneuvers, such as swerving to avoid an object in the road.

In addition to StabiliTrak, the H3T also comes with Hill Start Assist to prevent the truck from rolling back when starting on a steep surface, keeping the vehicle braked while you switch your foot from the brake to the throttle.

LOCKING DIFFERENTIAL

The 2009 H3T comes with available front and rear locking differentials –essential off-road tools that set the H3 family apart from other trucks. Differentials were conceived mainly for on-road driving. When taking hard turns or driving through slippery conditions they enhance stability by allowing wheels to spin at different rates.

This, however, does not help the off-road driver when navigating uneven ground or deformable surfaces. When wheels are allowed to spin at different rates, torque is limited. With the H3T, you have the ability to lock both the front and rear differential s so all four wheels receive maximum torque.

These trucks, simply put, afford you the best of both world –on-road safety and off-road control at the touch of a button.

THE H3T HAS AN APPROACH ANGLE OF 37.1°, DEPARTURE ANGLE OF 30.9° AND A BREAKOVER ANGLE OF 19.0°, ALL ALLOWING THE H3T TO PASS THROUGH DEEP DITCHES AND TRAVERSE LARGE DIRT MOUNDS WITHOUT SUFFERING ANY FRONT- OR REAR-END DAMAGE.

TRAILERING

THE H3T HAS A TRAILERING CAPACITY WITH THE "I-5" OF 2,900 lbs WITH MANUAL TRANSMISSION, AND 4,400 lbs WITH THE AUTO TRANSMISSION.

Available V8 gets 5,900 lbs trailering with auto transmission. Trailer tongue weight should be 10%-15% of total loaded trailer weight, up to 500 lb. Maximum trailer weight ratings are calculated assuming a base vehicle, except for any option(s) necessary to achieve the rating, plus driver.
